The COVID-19 pandemic significantly increased the number of patients seeking physical therapist services via telehealth. This paradigm shift will improve access to care, but it also brings change.
Recently, CMS added physical therapists to the list of eligible health care professionals who can furnish and bill Medicare for services furnished via telehealth. In this podcast we discuss what’s happening in Medicare in relation to telehealth and what APTA is doing to continue to advocate on behalf of the profession.
